Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 2g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, resolves Phlegm, clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
With Bai Shao, moderates spasms and alleviates pain, for painful spasms of the leg or abdomen.
Rz. Zingiberis Gan Jiang 4g Warms the Middle, expels Cold, warms the channels and stops bleeding.
With Gan Cao, for epigastric pain and vomiting due to Spleen and Stomach Deficiency Cold.
Fr. Jujube Da Zao 4g Tonifies the Spleen and Stomach, augments Qi and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
Rx. Paeoniae Alba Bai Shao 6g Nourishes the Blood, softens the Liver, adjusts the Ying and Wei, calms Liver Yang and Liver Wind and alleviates pain.
With Gan Cao, for abdominal pain due to disharmony between the Liver and Stomach.
Maltosum Yi Tang 20g Strengthens the Spleen, tonifies Qi, tonifies the Middle Jiao and alleviates pain and coldness.
